Dr. Steve Canion is a Chiropractor, Acupuncture and Auriculotherapy Practitioner and Biologist dedicated to helping patients find relief from complex and chronic health conditions. With a unique approach that blends advanced Western techniques with the principles of Eastern medicine, Dr. Canion specializes in treating patients who have not found success through conventional medical care, chiropractic treatment, or physical therapy. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Canion has also gained international recognition for his pioneering work in veterinary acupuncture and marine life rehabilitation. Through the S.T.A.R. (Sea Turtle Acupuncture Resuscitation) Project, he collaborated with veterinary acupuncturist and researcher Dr. Philip Rogers, D.V.M. of Dublin, Ireland, to develop a groundbreaking acupuncture resuscitation procedure for drowned, shocked, or comatose sea turtles. This innovative work has successfully revived sea turtles in locations including Mexico, Australia, and France.
