Dr. Canion is a Biologist, Chiropractor, Acupuncturist and Auriculotherapist. He is currently pioneering research in the field of Auriculotherapy devices to help patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, head injuries, and attention deficit disorder. He has developed and patented a solar powered electromagnet, which is used in auriculotherapy to allow patients to treat and free themselves of many conditions.

Dr. Canion specializes in helping patients with very challenging health conditions that haven't been alleviated by conventional medical/chiropractic/ physical therapy. Most of his patients experience significant relief the first visit. He combines Western technology with Eastern medicine and an exciting emerging medical treatment called auriculotherapy. Patients come to Dr. Canion from all over the United States, South America, Canada, and Europe.

Dr. Canion has also pioneered acupuncture resuscitation of sea turtles, the S.T.A.R. project. Dr. Canion has collaborated with Veterinary Acupuncturist and researcher from Dublin, Ireland, Dr. Philip Rogers D.V.M.to invent a procedure to rescue sea turtles that are drowned, in shock or comatose. Five drowned or comatose turtles have been revived so far from Xcaret, Mexico and Melborne, Australia and LeReunion, France.
